On Monday, October 19, 2015, we had a fabulous star studded Gala that featured the songs of Cause Celebre's Sunset Artist Award recipient, Jonathan Tunick.
The songs were performed live by Tony Nominee Penny Fuller and Keith Buterbaugh (Company on Broadway) and accompanied by four time Emmy Winner Billy Goldenberg.
The room was bursting with the energy of so many celebrities including: Danny Aiello, Lisa Bostnar, Keith Butterbaugh, Lynn Cohen, Richard Easton, Penny Fuller, Billy Goldenberg, Sheldon Harnick, Mike Hodge, Ebony Jo-Ann, Louise Lasser, Larry Pine, Stephen Schnetzer, Carole Shelley, Tony Roberts, Charles Turner and Fritz Weaver.
Other honorees were Andrew Brozman who started Tina's Wish (Funding scientific research for the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer) and Donna Satow founder of The JED Foundation (promotion emotional health and preventing suicide among college and university students), both of whom gavedeeply moving speeches about their foundations.
And lastly, Nancy Jackman and Rosemarie Salvatore received the Sunset Award for Individuals for their extraordinary work as caregivers.
